چکیده
This study aims to evaluate the mutation status of KRAS, BRAF, NRAS, PIK3CA, and AKT analyze association gene mutations with clinicopathological characteristics colorectal cancer. 151 cancer patients were diagnosed at Pathology Molecular Biology Center in National Cancer Hospital K. The research was conducted as a cross-sectional using methods such genomic DNA extraction; analysis by Real-time PCR. Mutation rates 37.1%, 7.3%, 2.6%, 12.6%, 1.3%, respectively. KRAS significantly associated size tumor. Additionally, mutually exclusive against that BRAF tended coexist PIK3CA (p<0.05). In conclusion, most popular KRAS. These different well each others.

Distinct Genetic Alterations in Colorectal Cancer
BACKGROUND Colon cancer (CRC) development often includes chromosomal instability (CIN) leading to amplifications and deletions of large DNA segments. Epidemiological, clinical, and cytogenetic studies showed that there are considerable differences between CRC tumors from African Americans (AAs) and Caucasian patients. In this study, we determined genomic copy number aberrations in sporadic CRC ...
متن کاملPolymorphism and Genetic Diversity of BAT25 Marker in Colorectal Cancer
By its frequency, colorectal cancer (CRC) has become a serious public health problem. BAT25 marker is included in the panel of five markers dedicated to the diagnosis of CCR microsatellite instability. The objective of this study was to evaluate the polymorphism and genetic diversity of the BAT25 marker in CRC cases in Senegal. This prospective study was performed on 22 CRC patients. After DNA ...
متن کاملMultiple genetic alterations in distal and proximal colorectal cancer.
Multiple genetic alterations were investigated in colorectal cancer, including changes in DNA content, mutations in ras oncogenes, and deletions involving chromosomes 5, 17, and 18. A non-random association of deletions and mitotic abnormalities by site was seen, with both types of alterations occurring significantly more frequently in distal tumours. In contrast, the frequency of c-Ki-ras muta...

A proteomics analysis of cell signaling alterations in colorectal cancer.
To gain further insight into alterations in cellular pathways, tumor profiling, and marker discovery in colorectal cancer (CRC) we used a new antibody microarray specific for cell signaling. Soluble protein extracts were prepared from paired tumor/normal biopsies of 11 patients diagnosed with colorectal carcinoma at different stages; four liver carcinomas were used as a reference. Antibody micr...
